A BANK IS FOREVER
(Jose B. Fernandez)

There is really no option.
From the first moment it accepts the wage earner's peso in savings,
To the time it handles millions in corporate trust,
It is committed to relationships of confidence.

But then, one never really merits the community's confidence overnight.
It is usually earned in time.
And once won, it has to be re-won
A thousand times--everyday.
For months.
For years.
Decades.
To be sure, it is a forever thing.

Because no bank can afford an erosion of public confidence,
However minimal or momentary,
and still hope for continuing vigorous growth.
It takes nothing less than a commitment--
A truly responsible one--
To the community it serves.

We at Far East Bank firmly believe in this.
We believed it when we first accepted our first deposit many years ago.
We believe in it now.
We will continue believing in it
For a mighty long time to come.
Like Forever.
