Miata MX-5

It's been such a long time since I last drove a two-door sports car.  With local road conditions favoring SUVs, I no longer consider sedans and sports as an attractive buy.  However, the sheer beauty of the Mazda Miata drives me absolutely nuts.  If only Vicky will let me get one...

Pop,Up

It's no longer science fiction.  It's beginning to be a reality.  Italdesign and Airbus have cooperated on the Pop.Up, which combines land travel with air travel.  Seamlessly.  I think I'll get to ride on one during my lifetime.

Sizzlin' Steak (CCP)

I didn't realize that Sizzlin' Steak was part of the Max's Group until recently.  I was parked at the Harbor Square area across from the Cultural Center of the Philippines when I chanced upon the branch there.  For under P250 I had my sizzling lunch--pepper steak with rice.  Not bad for fast food.  Staff was helpful, but only two other tables were occupied so I practically had the whole place to myself.

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center

We brought my Swiss niece Mandy to the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center along Quezon Avenue right next to the Quezon Memorial Rotunda.  The family used to frequent the area in the seventies, and while the trees have grown taller and the area is free from litter, it seems that the park is desolate.  To put it in bold words--depressingly empty.  We hope that someone can breathe life into this park.
