Pinatubo & Coo

Monique and I took Vicky on a round of lazy-day snacks and drinks at Kandle Kafe.   The trick here is to find the right combination of alcohol and refreshments to make the afternoon a fun-filled event, without getting bloated to ruin dinner.  We found a good kick with the combination of Pinatubo's Sunset Wheat and the Coo Almond Figue of EDSA Beverages.  I must admit we had some doubts when we ordered the pair (as with ordering any fancily-wrapped craft drinks), but it turned out to be okay.  The beer has a slight sourness to it, and for me, was a bit heavy on the tummy.  The soda was light and easy to drink.  Priced on the high side though, prepare for something like P150 - P200 per bottle specially if you want to have a long drinking session.
