The Latest Fab Four

My latest set of scents:

   1)  Aqua Fahrenheit by Dior-- makes me feel sophisticated, yet casual

   2)  Uomo by Valentino-- when I want to be non-comformist

   3)   La Coste Noir-- feeling playful yet projecting intelligence

   4)  Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue-- free-spirited, loving the sights and sounds around me

Each scent evokes different feelings in different people...  What're you wearing today?

Brut

I cannot believe they still sell this.  I was at Unimart in Greenhills when I came across a bottle of Brut Classic by Faberge, selling at something like P350.  Manong Pete introduced me to this cologne in the late sixties, and for a while during my childhood, it was the standard male scent that I knew.  Three cheers!

Keira Knightley for Coco Mademoiselle

Coco Mademoiselle, created around a decade ago, aimed to introduce the Chanel brand to a younger generation.  Reportedly, its 2007 film advertisement starring the lovely actress Keira Knightley was recently banned in the United Kingdom for its sexually suggestive content (after being shown just before GP movies for children).  Wrong timing & placing perhaps, but the ad itself is wonderful!  Take a look, courtesy of YouTube--

Maison Francis Kurkdjian

I like the scents of Maison Francis Kurkdjian.  Refreshing, classy and easy on the nose.  Vicky and I passed by Adora and found out that MFK has launched a new scent, Amyris, which also has touches of Iris, Rosemary and Mandarin.  Ahhh!  Very soothing, intoxicating even.... The scent has male (EDT) and female versions (EDP), and both appeal to me.  Although on the higher end of the fragrance totem pole, it's well worth the price.
