Along Dela Rosa St. in Legaspi Village, you will find a small store called Happy Cream Puff, which makes delightful puff pastries in various flavors and colors. I passed by last week and tried their basic cream puffs and was happy to find out that they control the sweetness very well, which makes the cream puff light on the tummy and easy on the teeth. Years ago, Monique and I would go to Beard Papa's just to watch the pastry chefs injecting creme into the shells, and it was such a bonding experience for us. The petite puffs are bite-size and are very affordable at P25, while the bigger ones hover at the P50 level. The birthday pyramid, shown above, goes for P1,500 and that'll probably satisfy the whole barkada!
