Tao Yuan

We've wanted to try Tao Yuan in the Malate area and at the Resorts World several times before, but haven't had the opportunity to do so.  This restaurant is Singaporean owned and has had a lot of good reviews from my friends.  Vicky, Monique and I decided to try their branch at the Robinson's Magnolia Mall.  We figured that if the food was good, we'd recommend this place to Kong Kong when he celebrates his birthday.  What was the verdict?

The siao long pao came in steamy hot, and was filled with hot and tasty juices, just the way I like it.  The Hainanese steamed chicken is absolutely the best we have tried in Metro Manila.  Hands down, no kidding!  And the radish cake is something that Monique will order again and again--she's hooked on it.

Our bill for afternoon snacks came to something like P400 per head, but it was worth it--a sneak preview of what we wanted to have for Kong's 90th birthday celebration!
