Off to another episode of the Burger Hunt! This time, Monique, Pipay and the Callars were fresh from a week-long vacation in Fairview, and on the way back to Manila, we stopped by the Crave Burger outlet along Katipunan in White Plains. This burger house has been on our target list for the past few months; unfortunately when we visited their Robinson's Magnolia stand, we were a big group and they didn't have enough seats to accommodate us. This time around, we arrived at 11am, and we practically had the place all to ourselves.
Burgers are priced in the P100 to P200 range, depending on the size and the toppings. The girls weren't as hungry and decided to get the mid-sizes, while the boys stuck to the house specialties. We weren't disappointed--patties were juicy and jam-packed with beefy goodness!
Interestingly for the enthusiasts--the store also carries some model figurines from anime and cartoons. I read that the artist (probably a friend or relative of the store owner) had previously worked with some Hollywood model-makers and you can imagine the detail that comes out when a professional model maker executes his craft. I didn't ask about the prices, but I would suppose this is high-end stuff!
