It was a leisurely-paced business trip to Dumaguete for us, specially since we had to make sure that Kong wouldn't be over stressed (he is, after all, 90 years old). The biggest headache was the airport waiting time; even with the comforts of the wheelchair, the long wait during flight days was a big hurdle. Imagine--aside from waiting at the airport lounge, you also have to wait while seated in the plane, the long queue for take-off and landing made the experience moderately irritating. Cousin Eddie, however, made all the necessary land arrangements, and upon our arrival, took us straight to Hotel Nicanor, right in the middle of the city. Our room was spacious and clean, not bad for the price of just around P2,200!
