Eddie took us to Gabby's Bistro for dinner. The restaurant has Mexican inspired decor, and while the mainstays are burgers and Mexican burritos, they also carry a whole variety of dishes--calamares fritos, pork BBQ, grilled meats, steak and Mongolian bowls! Michaela was disappointed with their tonkatsu bowl though, the pork slab didn't have the taste of mirin that she was looking for.
The kids had lots of milkshakes and ice cream to complete their dinner. We weren't in the mood for drinks, so we passed up on the beers--it was just a meal night.
The restaurant is located in the compound of Florentina Homes, which has some hotel rooms and apartelles for rent. Quaint!
