Tender Bob's

Monique and I had a happy stroll with Anita and her family at the Shangri-La Mall.  Monique had her nails done at the nearby Nail Spa store (this is their original outlet; the spa along Gamboa St. in Legaspi Village which I wrote about earlier was the second branch opened) and as soon as the nail polish was dry, we headed over to Tender Bob's for a sumptuous dinner.  The kids clamored for spaghetti, so we had a pomodoro and a carbonara just for them--Alexi and Danni were thrilled!

Tender Bob's is known as a family steak place, so prices are not as stiff as the prime steak houses.  We had a meat platter for everyone to share.  This contained a variety of meats--baby back ribs, flank steak, grilled chicken and pork chops.  We also chose baked ziti as the pasta for the adults.

I couldn't help but order "Fully Loaded" Burger to compare.  It was juicy and tasted well, but was kinda expensive (P365), specially if you will contrast with the quality and prices offered by the specialty burger shops.  On the plus side, ambiance is pretty family oriented, and the staff are well organized.  For our meal, we chalked up a bill of something like P500 per head.
