Sweet Inspirations along Katipunan Avenue has been around for more than a couple of decades, and most college students from Ateneo and Miriam have probably tried their Mongolian Buffet once or twice. This time around, Anita, Erika and I picked up Mikaela and went on to have a sibling breakfast meeting at the restaurant. The buffet is available on weekends, opens at 6am, and costs a very reasonable P205 per head. I started off with scrambled eggs and longganiza, and particularly liked the danggit and the chicken pork adobo. For those who like light brekky, they also have champorado and arroz caldo. The meal comes complete with hot & cold drinks (coffee, chocolate or iced tea), veggies, kakanin and fruits.
Nothing fancy about the restaurant interiors, but it was cozy and had a homey feeling to it. I also liked the covered parking spaces at the back portion of the restaurant; it was well guarded and could accommodate a lot of vehicles. While the place also sells cakes and pastries, I think they are more known as a buffet restaurant rather than a cake shop. We'll probably be back with the kids in tow!
