Eddie and his daughter Kate were in town, and so Monique and I decided to have a fast buffet dinner with them at Grills & Sizzles along Examiner St., in Quezon City. Joining us were Anita and her family, and we arrived just after 6:30 pm on a weeknight. This meant that the steak-all-you-can promo would only cost us P389 per person, as compared to a more expensive P429 on weekends. The buffet spread was simple--they had salad greens, pesto spaghetti, a chicken dish, basic paella (not completos recados), and ice cream. The main feature, of course, was tenderloin steak!
I've been seeing the signboard of this restaurant every time I pass Examiner, and we thought this was the perfect opportunity to try their steak-all-you-can promo. I half-expected the steaks to be tough and tasteless, but it was not bad at all, albeit on the sweet side (the sauce is like that of pork BBQ). We definitely went home with bulging tummies!
The place mats contain info material on steak, and other steak cooking tips. Pretty interesting. I tried to connect with their website, but unfortunately, this no longer seems to exist. Not bad at all for the P389 per person.
