It seems that the family is in agreement--Burger Bar in Greenbelt is among the top 3 in our list of the best burger houses in Metro Manila. This gourmet burger restaurant is less than a year old, but has already developed a huge following--you often have to wait to be seated. We got in around 5:30 pm on a weekend, and we were lucky to get 2 back to back tables (unfortunately, no adjoining tables were available for our group of 8). Vicky and Bryan realized that the fun part was designing your own burger and quickly developed their own concoctions--they claim that the steak patty was the most flavorful among the specialty patties. Vicky, the ever-loyal onion ring fan, got an order to share with everyone.
The burgers came in various combinations--in different patties (using rib-eye cuts, flank, ribs, and brisket), topped with bacon, with gruyere, with mozzarella, with cheddar, with mushrooms, veggies and onions rings, in brioche, in sesame seed buns--oh my, everything so sinful, yet ecstatic to the taste buds! And the kids had enough space in their tummies to wolf everything down with milk shakes...
Prepare something like P600 per head if you want to go all the way with an almost sinful experience. If you just want a mid-day snack, you can get by with P300 per head.
