We've been patronizing Sevilla's Sweets since the mid-seventies, when it opened at the ground floor of Shoppesville Arcade in the Greenhills Commercial Center. Gwama used to order their garlic longganiza by the kilo, and we raved about the wonderful taste--absolutely perfect! I don't know if this comes from Bulacan or Nueva Ecija, all I can say is that this my all-time best-tasting commercial longganiza! There was even one Christmas in the early nineties, that Vicky and I chose to gift our friends with a kilo each of this precious delicacy--that's how much I believed in the taste and quality thereof. As an added bonus, they also sell tapang usa, but this is not available all the time (a bit chewy, slightly gamey but truly yummy). Try the longganiza and enjoy, a pack costs less than P200! All you need to do for a quick meal is just boil with a little water it in a frying pan, wait for the water to evaporate and the fats will auto-melt; the sausage will self-fry. Perfect with a fried egg and sinangag--just don't have this day-in and day-out, as it can be addicting!
