Monique and I accompanied Yaya Ruffie to SM Megamall as she wanted to buy a Samsung laptop for her sister. Since we stayed on till lunchtime, we decided to have lunch at Eat & Go, which has a college cafeteria feel. I've been curious about this eatery for some time now, but each time I ask Vicky to eat there, it seems that we decide to eat elsewhere. This time, without Vicky around, Monique and I decided to try the place.
We took the special lunch package for 3 people--for P599 we received 3 plates (beef fritters, stuffed chicken and pepper chicken, each with a couple of sidings of your choice). In addition, the package came with 3 drinks and a plate of green salad. Ordered separately, the bill would have come up to something like P750, or P250 per head.
I was thinking of having something different for our salad, so we chose the seafood version, which came with kani strips and shrimps. The food didn't take long to arrive, and I guess this is the attraction of the place, you can eat and go in as fast as 30 minutes (great for office workers on a timetable). The counter lady told us that the specialty of their restaurant was London pies, and we'll probably try that the next time around.
