St. George Greek Orthodox Chapel

The Adamson family has been long involved in the Philippines.  In the 1930s, Dr. George Lucas Adamson, a Greek chemist, started Adamson University in Sta. Cruz (now located along San Marcelino St., Ermita).  The Adamsons were also involved in the manufacture and distribution of personal hygiene products and cosmetics, and the Adamson Building, along Leviste St. (formerly Alfaro), perpendicular to Villar St., in Salcedo Village used to be their corporate headquarters.  The St. George Greek Orthdox Chapel is located right in front of the building, and is open weekdays from 7am to 9am.  When I was based in Makati, I often passed by the chapel to say a prayer or two.  Its is a very simple chapel, yet this is a good place to power down and place oneself in the presence of the Almighty.
