We've been buying from them since they started around a decade ago. Vicky is a fan of their ensaymada, while Monica loves their cheese pesto rolls. I always go for their large pan-de-sal, which is priced at just about P5 each. On close inspection, you will notice that while the name Pan de Manila connotes a bakery, the store is actually positioned as an easy snack convenience outlet. Aside from the different breads, you have several kinds of local pastries (e.g. pan de coco, pan de ube) and you can even get the sandwich fillings (the usual suspects that are home favorites throughout the metro--cheese, peanut butter, sardines, jams). The store also carries their own brand of hot drinks (e.g. tablea chocolate and coffee) and other ice-cold drinks. The breads are baked onsite so you can be sure of the fresh quality. I tell you--if you walk in just as they pull out the breads from the oven, the aroma is very enticing!
