Rise of the Guardians

Despite the stunner brought about by the downfall of the Pacman, we had a wonderful time watching Rise of the Guardians, which features the voices of several noted actors--Alec Baldwin, Isla Fisher, Chris Pine, Hugh Jackman and Jude Law.  It was great way to ring in the Christmas season, and I left the theater with tears in my eyes.  The best part for me was watching Sandman, a voiceless character that expressed such a wide range of computer-generated emotion.  Such wonderful golden displays of sheer joy!  Computer animation has gone so far advanced (this is a 3D film, although we watched the ordinary version), that someday, we'd have a difficult time telling the difference.  Feel-good movie to the max!
