Our first stop in Iloilo was lunch at Esca's where we had a slide presentation to some business colleagues. The restaurant had a homey feel and the meeting was very casual, prompting a lively discussion among the participants. We had an array of Filipino favorites--chicken adobo, beef mechado, fish with cream sauce and pork with mushrooms. Stayed there till 2pm, before heading off to check out the business growth of the city.
