Flavors

Vicky and Becca planned a lovely brunch for Mama Dee's birthday bash at the Flavors restaurant of the Holiday Inn in Makati.  This hotel stands right on top of the Glorietta Mall, and you can see a good view of the new constructions coming up in the Makati Commercial Center from the lobby area of the hotel.

Breakfast items were available, but we decided to start with some heavy stuff--grilled shrimps, shawarma and roast turkey!  After that, we moved on to salads, soup, sushi and hot viands.  The dessert corner was the kiddie favorite, and I must say their chocolate creations were quite delicious.

The buffet comes to around P1,600 per head, which is just about the price of hotel buffets these days.  Note that the cakes below are sold separately, and are not a part of the buffet (Bryan almost made the mistake of asking that these be brought to the table).  The hotel is just around a year old, and must be a tourist favorite--we asked to see a room, but unfortunately, the hotel was 100% full.  Business must be very good!
