The Mandarin Deli

I always go back to my old haunts.  Human nature, I guess.  It was thus a pleasure to schedule an afternoon meeting at the Mandarin Deli, which has been improved and renovated to include a better porte-cochere to keep the outside heat in check.  As I walked in, it all came back to me--fond memories of the place, especially the duck liver pate I used to order every Christmas!  They still have a wide selection of breads, pastries, sandwiches and light snacks, and the quiet elegant atmosphere is still one of the best places to catch up and chit chat with good friends.
