Becca discovered Pancit Puti in the late eighties, and this was pretty popular as the afternoon merienda fare of the airline offices back then. LSS Fastfoods was located somewhere along Santillan St., off Pasong Tamo, and she would brave the crowded street parking just to come home with a bilao, and this would be gone in a jiffy. It was literally white bihon noodles, topped with shredded chicken and fried garlic. Despite the lack of color, it was full of flavor and aroma. For Bryan's birthday last weekend, she decided to revisit the place, which has now moved to Dela Rosa St., near the Makati Medical Center. One party-sized bilao costs something like P800 and this is good for around 20 people.
