Kazoku

We found ourselves with nothing to do one Sunday night.  Being the twinkle-toes that we are, we called the clan up for a Japanese dinner at the newly-opened neighborhood restaurant Kazoku (meaning "family"), right along Maginhawa Street.  The place was full, and it was good that I had enough sense to make a reservation for our group of 16 pax.  I was a bit worried because of the heavy downpour and the slippery stairs that Kong and Gwammy had to climb to get to the restaurant's second floor location.  Thank the heavens, all went well.

Appetizer:  Gyoza

Sashimi:  Salmon, Tuna, Octopus, Mackerel, Squid

Seafood Ramen

Sushi:  California, Salmon & Spicy Tuna

Pause with:  Salad

Tonkatsu, Curry and Gyudon

Finish off with Yakisoba and Agedashi Tofu

We finished eating in about an hour and half, the rain had subsided and everyone's grumbly tummy was placated.  We spent something like P600 per head, and we probably gained a pound each from all the eating!  It's convenient to have a popularly-priced Japanese restaurant in the area.
