Monique came back to the hotel with some candy surprises that allows her and her cousins to enjoy the same fun I had when I was a kid. She found some Shocking Popping Candy in the grocery near our hotel, and we all enjoyed the popping bursts each granule would give. The granules are somehow infused with carbonated gas, and the fizz is released upon contact with your saliva. The popular brand used to be Pop Rocks, but I haven't seen that for some time now.
