I had a quick meeting with some real estate brokers at the Bigoli restaurant at the Trinoma shopping mall late last month, and I half expected to see at least one dish using bigoli pasta (someone told me that this is thick pasta, like the Japanese udon). I have never tried this type of pasta before, and I was looking forward to tasting it for the first time--unfortunately there was none.
I had an order of lasagna (which took some 15 minutes to cook), while my friends had cream fettuccine and a slice of their house pizza (both delivered to our table in about 5 minutes). The lasagna wasn't bad though (hot, gooey and plenty of tomato flavor), and if you'd like to have a simple Italian merienda for around P150 per person, this is just the place to go to.
