Katherine's Cafe

Monique's friend had left for the airport, and after a long night of drinking with another friend, she agreed to have a quick hot meal for brekky.  Luckily, we found Katherine's Cafe at the ground level of the Vertis compound in Quezon City.  As we entered, we were glad to find that the interiors were cozy and comfortable.  We decided to share some mushroom soup, vongole pasta and shepherd's pot pie.  Serving portions are adequate and prices are reasonable given the quality of the ingredients and the level of service; expect to spend something like P400 per person for a quick bite.

The restaurant owners obviously draw inspiration from Julia Child, and you can see that in the decor, the bright ambiance, the good service and most especially in the food.  In my book, they get an outright A!
