A long list of illustrious actors have played the part of Robin Hood onscreen--Douglas Fairbanks, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe to name a few. The definitive film portrayal of course, is by none other than Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood, and Olivia de Havilland is the standard for Maid Marian. I had the pleasure of watching the movie again with Kong Kong and Gwammy last week, courtesy of cable TV.
