I first came across Sugarhouse in the late eighties, but I don't remember where in Makati they were situated in. They started off primarily as a bakeshop, and today, some of their outlets have the whole shebang--breakfast, sandwiches, pasta, complete meals. Becca returned home with a Concorde cake, which features chocolate meringue sticks encircling the chiffon cake. Dynamite for the kids!
