I was very happy with our meal at the Rosanjin restaurant at SM Megamall. Our truckers group had the opportunity to try some good Japanese food. We started off with some gyoza, plump, crispy on the pan-fried side, and juicy.
Next came an assortment of sushi and sashimi, which was fresh and nicely presented. Ebi, maguro, salmon, squid, uni...oh yes, the plates were gone in 60 seconds!
We had some grilled mackerel, wagyu beef and tofu, and we feasted on a kaminabe (paper pot) of sukiyaki. The soup ingredients are placed on a sheet of paper and cooked over a flame, and the paper doesn't burn! Magic? It's a Japanese cooking art form!
Budget? It would be good to place your budget at around P800 per person, so you can have a good variety of dishes. Not bad at all; I'd take the kids to try this restaurant one of these days.
