Matt passed his board exam and is now a certified engineer! Congratulations are definitely in order, and Becca decided to take us all to Fantastic Chef in Malate, to celebrate the wonderful occasion. This unli Korean BBQ joint has good meat and marinades; the resulting grilled meat flavors are unrivaled at its price point--a very reasonable P550 per person. Flexible exhaust pipes located atop your grill work well in bringing unwanted smoke out of the dining areas, so you don't have to worry too much about the smoke. Remember to ask for their cheese sauce for your instant fondue; variety is spice of life!
Vicky and Monique had a bit of a difficult time looking for a parking space though and because of the drizzle, arrived 30 minutes after the rest of the family had started to eat. Being located near DLSU, the lack of parking space is the only drawback to this restaurant. Otherwise, it's a good place to bring the family for a simple get together or a quick celebration.
