I can truthfully say that My One and Only Love jumpstarted my love affair with jazz. The moment I heard John Coltrane's opening notes, I was entranced. Before that, I was a casual listener to the songs that Tito Jay would play, and while I enjoyed the music, I had never been so crazy about as song as the John Coltrane rendition.
